Omni-Directional Spacial Generator

In this project, I created an object that generated space(s) within a 9”x9”x9” cube parameter, and could function while orientated on all six of its faces. Rather than start with a negative void and fill it with a positive, I decided to create space by starting with a solid positive and then carve out of it. After cutting and stacking 46 sheets of foam core at 9”x9” to create a solid cube, I removed sections layer by layer, following an organic theme of erosion.
